Integration with spring-security is something I am very interested in as well. I would be glad to help the dev team and perhaps with some guidance may even step up to contribute a patch for this integration to the project.

Hmm, I don't have specific input, I just want the stuff being usable in the JBoss AS environment as well without spring. That's all I can add at this moment
